The Norwegian is one of the hottest properties in world football and made the move to the Premier League from Borussia Dortmund. In Germany he was scoring a goal per game on average having previously burst onto the scene with Red Bull Salzburg. City have operated without a recognised No 9 for several years, but continue to create huge amounts of chances. As a result, Haaland is being tipped to top the goal charts and Keane believes he has the right attitude with more to come given his tender age. The Irishman said on ITV prior to the game: "Brilliant, brilliant player. Good age, 22, he hasn’t peaked yet, he’s working with a brilliant team, brilliant manager, he’s got all the attributes, you can’t imagine him not scoring 20 goals, you just can’t. "If he stays fit, he’s obviously got the right attitude what a signing, you used a word there… exciting, that’s exactly what this young kid is and I’m excited to watch him over the next few months." Haaland has already been vocal in his fondness for Pep Guardiola, who will be hugely demanding of his new signing as City target a hat-trick of league triumphs as well as their much craved Champions League title. The signing of Haaland more than addresses that issue which gives Guardiola's outfit another dimension. Ian Wright said: "You look at his record, we’ve been watching him in the Bundesliga and he’s scoring a goal a game almost. He looks so dynamic, 6ft5, pace, skill, he’s got everything. The Norwegian, who arrived from Borussia Dortmund this summer in a blockbuster £51million deal, struggled to make his mark on Saturday and the late howler will have left an even worse taste in his mouth.  Having a central striker is still something of a novelty for City after winning the Premier League last term without a senior frontman in their squad. And that showed on Saturday, when Liverpool ran out 3-1 winners at the King Power Stadium to win the Community Shield.  Haaland, who arrived in Manchester under the weight of great expectations due to an exceptional goal-scoring record at club and international level, made a series of runs in behind that were ignored by his City team-mates in the first half. When found he showed strength and determination, going close on a couple of occasions, but his frustrating afternoon was capped off in second-half stoppage time.  Phil Foden's low strike forced Adrian into a low save which was parried straight into Haaland's path. The pair were both selected to start for the reigning Premier League champions on Saturday during their Community Shield showdown with Liverpool. Whilst it is a tantalising prospect to see the duo link up at the Etihad Stadium throughout the campaign, it appears that they are not quite yet on the same wavelength. As reported by ESPN, the Belgian playmaker displayed his frustrations with his new teammate after he expected him to make a run in-behind the Reds’ defence but instead the former Borussia Dortmund star stayed stationary. De Bruyne was furious with the decision as he threw his arms up in the air in exasperation. The pair are then reported to have had a private conversation on the pitch as they attempted to come to more of an understanding before the midfielder was withdrawn from the action midway through the second period. Supporters will certainly hope that the pair can strike up more of a relationship throughout the campaign. His move should help us to grow as a team. Everybody expects a lot. “They've always been looking for a No.9, but I think it'll be good to have that striker that maybe scores 20-25 goals a season." He continued: "Maybe (his arrival might help me too). There have been years that I have had more assists (than this season). "But my chance creation and other things have remained consistent. Numbers are a part of football but they never tell you the full story." Whilst Haaland’s movement left De Bruyne slightly frustrated, the Norwegian did manage to find the net during pre-season with a strike against German giants Bayern Munich.
